The guy behind the workbench has been working with leather since 2015; what began as a hobby quickly evolved into a passion and continues to grow as a blend of craftsmanship and art fuel the fire.  combining the classic western decoration of floral carving and thoughtful contemporary technique in assembly, Heron Walk strives to produce leather pieces that can be appreciated by the everyday admirer of western wear or the discerning collector.

Designer and craftsman, Owen Clark, grew up on a horse ranch near Durango, Colorado, where he developed a deep appreciation for the rugged beauty and utility of traditional Western leathercraft.  After relocating to Nashville, he spent years learning the trade from any books he could lay hands on then spent time enrolled in various workshops from master saddle makers such as Cary Schwarz, Troy West, Pedro Pedrini, Gordon andrus, and master chap maker Julie Baugher.  Now as a luxury western leather maker he is focused on making items at the highest level while still growing his knowledge of the craft and its history.

Today, with a shop located in Oklahoma city and a growing base of customers around the world, heron walk custom leather continues to deliver leather goods that reflect a dedication to quality, individuality, and the enduring spirit of the American West.
